Too Much Nonsense – My Personal Blog

I was hoping to have fantastic news for you about my toenail fungus. I don’t have fantastic news, but I do have improvement news. Looking at my toenail fungus in person, I swear to you, that they look a lot better. I even asked my son and he agreed. They look healthier.

But a picture (posted at the bottom of this post) tells a thousand words, especially when it comes to fungus nail. If you look at the picture carefully you definitely see new nail growth. It is slowly, very slowly creeping up. The improvement in the left toenail is more noticeably than the right. But you do see slight improvement in the right toenail as well

I was hoping for more improvement, but it has only been thirty days. I think the 60 Day mark will be more telling.

This is what I have been doing on a daily basis

• In the morning, after my shower, using a Q-tip, I apply the Apple Vinegar to each toenail, using the Q-tip to rub it into the nail and along the cudical.  I then rap the toe(s) in gauze and soak the gauze with more Apple Vinegar where the nail is.The only reason I use gauze is because the Apple Vinegar has honey in it which makes the toenails sticky. If I don’t use the gauze I’ll spend a good 20 minutes trying to get all the black sock lint off the nail when I get home. No fun….
• When I get home in the evening, I clean the toes with soap and water. I then  reapply the Apple Vinegar to the fungus nails. No Gauze.
• During the Weekend I do the same process as above except with out the gauze. I were sandals all weekend. The problem here is that sometimes I’ll get big ol clumps of cat hair sticking to my toe.
• Every few days I dig out the fungus crap that I can get to from under the nail

That’s it. I’m contemplating soaking the toes maybe once a week for 30 minutes or so. I can not think of a good way to do this without wasting a bunch of the Apple Vinegar. I don’t want to soak my whole foot, just the nails. Any Suggestions???
