My Positive Affirmations
O.K.. I know I’m going all over the place with this blog, but Hey! It’s all about me, right?!? Well I want this to be all about you as well. My whole goal with this blog was to create a place where I could vent and share my ideas and thoughts. I want you to share your ideas and thoughts as well. At the moment it’s a one way street, very few people commenting or sharing. From this point forward It’s going to be a two way street. Here is my newest positive affirmation.

What the hell is this positive affirmation business you ask. Well to be honest I really don’t know much about it myself. My new eharmony girl is a huge believer in it. I look at her life, compare it to mine, and it’s apparent she’s doing something right. If it works for her then it can work for me…. Right?
Wikipedia defines Positive Affirmation as:
affirmations in New Age and New Thought terminology refers primarily to the practice of Positive thinking – fostering “a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything.”
More specifically an affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to ones self and written down frequently. For an affirmation to be effective, it needs to be present tense, positive, personal and specific.
Even though I’m still in the research and planning stages of my positive affirmations, I started doing them a couple of days ago.. Although none of them have come true I have to say that I do feel a lot more positive about my life since beginning. I have to tell you, it’s a really nice feeling. I’ve been so miserable for so long and I never really realized it until now.
I take that back about nothing coming true yet, this might be a stretch;…….. I have really wanted to get the Blackberry Curve. I actually kind of need one for my forgetfulness… side effect of my brain injury. I haven’t gotten one because I didn’t want to spend the $99.00. Well I just found out that Verizon just started a promotion and they are now only $49.99. This is probably a stretch, but it is a positive so I’m gonna take it and run with it…

I am surrounded by young, horny Asian girls.
I’m really hoping the last one comes true…
