Don’t Forget To Pay Your Credit Card & Loan Bills!
O.K., This sounds really simple, but I just did it. For the last couple of days I’ve been getting these recorded messages from the Credit Union that has my truck loan asking me to call them. Now a few days earlier they sent me some junk mail from them asking me to buy insurance from them. Since the calls were recorded messages I thought that was it.
So today I was going over my finances in Quicken and I realized that I totally forgot to send my payment. What a goob… A couple of weeks back I was playing with the Debt reduction planner. I used my start date as 08/01/2009 so it didn’t insert my July payment.
The fact of the matter is Divorce jacks you up, especially if you’re on the receiving end. The last thing you need is any additional stress in your life. I know it can be difficult to motivate yourself, but it’s important. If you don’t use accounting software, I strongly advise you use it. It simplified my financial life.
